Call to Order
Supervisor Yarrington called the meeng to order at 6:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Open Public Hearing on Proposed Updated Zoning Code (Local Law 3 of 2024)
A motion to open the public hearing at 6:01 pm was made by Olney and seconded by Perry.

Discussion to remove the last sentence on page 168 under Subsection 702. Repair along with removal of Zoning Board in the sentence directly before this last sentence replacing it with officer was agreed upon.
A motion to close the public hearing at 6:04 pm was made by Olney and seconded by Petro.

Superintendent Wheeler handed out his report and shared the roads that needed paving next year.

Code Enforcement Report
Code Officer Grady handed out his monthly report. He shared all transactions since January of this year.
Supervisor Comments/Concerns
Yarrington stated that he purchased a cell phone for the Code Enforcement Officer but had to temporarily put it in his name because unknowingly his drivers license expired. Verizon would only do a personal account because of this. The first bill will be in Yarrington’s name. The next bills will all be under the Town of Barrington.
There will be a budget workshop September 10th at 5:00 pm.

Public Comments/Concerns
Steve Brigham, ZBA Chairperson, stated that since the new Zoning Law has passed and the building height is different now, they may not need to have their upcoming ZBA meeting.

Wheeler asked if there have been any updates to the website. Town officials will be having a training when more people are available to attend.
