A regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Barrington, County of Yates and State of New York was held at the town hall located at 4424 Bath Road, Penn Yan on March 28th, 2023.

Supervisor Perry called the Town Board meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance at 6:00 pm.
A motion to approve the minutes for February 28th, 2023 was made by Olney and seconded by Yarrington.

Resolution 2023-47 to accept the Justice’s audit for January thru December of 2022 was made by Olney and seconded by Yarrington.

Highway Superintendent Wheeler and the Board discussed Barrington clean-up day. It will be May 20th from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. The annual road inspection will take place on April 15th at 7:00 am.
Wheeler shared information regarding a culvert pipe on Gravel Run Road that needs replacing which a grant has been applied for. He stated that it is thirty feet in the ground and one hundred feet long. It will be a big project. FEMA money can also be used towards this project.
Resolution 2023-50 to hire Hunt Engineering regarding getting funding to replace the box culvert pipe on Gravel Run Road and to sign the contract was made by Perry and seconded by Yarrington.

Wheeler wants to table the 284 Highway Agreement until after April 15th when the road inspections and bids for paving are done.
A motion to approve the highway report was made by Olney and seconded by Petro.

Supervisor Perry stated that he spoke with Niki with NYMIR and it is going up at least 8%. He expects to hear from her within a week or two.
Code Enforcement Officer Jayne gave a monthly update to the Board regarding code enforcement with the Town as well as at the legislative level.
Resolution 2023-51 to pay the general bills in the amount of $11,683.89 numbered 53 thru 76 which were audited by the Town Board was made by Olney and seconded by Petro.
