A regular meeting of the Town of Barrington, County of Yates and State of New York was held at the Town Hall located at 4424 Bath Road, Penn Yan on November 28, 2023.

Supervisor Yarrington called the meeng to order at 6:01 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion to approve the minutes of October 24th was made by Crosby and seconded by McGinness.

Superintendent Wheeler presented a letter from the Transportation Supervisor of the Dundee School District requesting that the Town Highway Department continue to plow the Barrington Church parking area for the school year 2023-2024 since the buses will use the space for a turn-around.
Wheeler also stated that he had another request to cut a guardrail. They discussed an application form which they will be working on.
The FEMA paperwork has been submitted in the amount of $135,000.
Jayne stated that he issued two building permits and there are eight active housing projects.
Yarrington explained the changes that were made to the Yates County Soil & Water contract that the Board was previously concerned about. Change to part C, secon 2 regarding more support by YCSW regarding any possible legal acon was made.
Resolution 2023-114 to approve the updated Yates County Soil and Water contract for 2024 in the amount of $22,400.00 was made by McGinness and seconded by Crosby.

Resolution 2023-115 to approve the Animal Control Agreement with Yates County for 2024 was made by Crosby and seconded by McGinness.

Yarrington stated that the County will be sharing $53,278 of the sales tax with the Town of Barrington next year.
There will be a LULA training at the Seneca Community Center on May 9th and 10th , as well as June 7th and 8th of 2024.
Resolution 2023-116 to approve the general bills numbered 242 thru 264 in the amount of $6,250.72 which were audited by the Town Board was made by Crosby and seconded by McGinness.
